Wine list was amazing and server descriptions were spot on. The menu changes so always something new to try. Started with the corn ribs and a beautiful pepper sauce with popcorn! Really great start. Next the duck drumetts, delicious! Last appetizer was the pork dumpling with collards. Im from NC and it is hard to impress me with collards but these were really good. The lamb shank dish was a bit salty but the okra was a nice touch. The cod sorry to say was a bit underwhelming with a white bean ragout and English pea puree. I would have loved to sit at the bar but was told no availability. There were 2 people at the bar during our whole meal while we dined at the community table so Im not sure why we couldn't have sat at the bar. It's a great spot to try if you've never been but I'll probably only go back for there happy hour.

Chef Joe over at Bin 6 South in St. Petersburg is on another level. You can tell immediately that he’s passionate about what he does and takes real pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen. The food was creative, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Florida. What makes the place special is the atmosphere too - small, intimate, and personal. Sitting at the chef’s bar and watching everything come together makes the whole experience feel unique. Chef Joe explains the dishes, the thought behind them, and you can feel the attention to detail in every bite. If you’re anywhere near St. Pete and appreciate real food, great wine, and an unforgettable experience, Bin 6 South is absolutely worth it.

This is one of those spots where, if more people knew about it, you’d never be able to get in. The owners go above and beyond to make the entire experience incredible. The food was so delicious, we ate every bite. The chefs prepare everything right in front of you, and they are so knowledgeable about what they do. They explain different aspects of the food you’re eating in such an interesting way, and the presentation was truly 10/10. They even have a garden next to the restaurant that they use for fresh ingredients, which makes the whole experience feel even more special. We loved every part of it.

Highly recommended. My wife and I stopped by for the first time tonight. We just had dessert and wine but it was an amazing experience! The "Death by Chocolate" dessert was so well balanced. A little sweet, a little salty, not overwhelming chocolate. The wine selection is unique but we loved everything that we tried. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and very friendly. We can't wait to go back to try the dinner menu!

FOOD SEX - In my New Top-Global-5 Job the Chef is basically a Supertaster with the utmost detail in every bite. Why Top-5? This is not some crazy overrated hyped up NY restaurant from marketing. This is DAYS OF PREP to serve you now level of cooking. What an experience. Joe Describes each dish with perfection. All the herbs and spices come from their gardens. The menu is different about every other month. They cater to the season, temperatures, herbs in season and more. It’s and Experience to eat here. There are only a few tables and seats. MUST MAKE A RESERVATION. All and all…I have dined all over the world. Had what was called the “best” then truly dove into cultures to find the best. When I personally put this in my Top-5…. It’s my Opinion that this little hands on experience is a true global top five for flavor, prep, attention to food detail, foods that take time to make, and much more. I am not one that is impressed by the glitzy atmosphere to make up for average food. Nor one that falls for “history” to be the reason one should love a place. I look for true craftsmanship in the food and its flavors. Bin6South NAILS IT
